Welcome to the web site of the Ski Club of International Journalists.
SCIJ, as we call our club by the initials of its French name, was founded during the so-called “Cold War” in 1955 to generate conversation between journalists from different countries. Enthusiasm for skiing seems to have been a good excuse to get people together, for today we have over 2000 members in 46 countries, and every year some 250 of us get together in some snowy place to ski together, to compete in GS and CC and to discuss the hot topics of the day in world politics, economi, environment and culture...
