It's difficult to find the words and write sentences which make sense in such a sad situation. Haim was an important figure in our club. He was always present, competing in giant slalom or cross country with the only goal to participate and being classified. For years and years, Haim has been leading the Israeli team, very involved in SCIJ's activities, paying very special attention to our General Assemblies, Captain's meetings and Round Tables.

Last year, he asked if he could come to Jasnà with his wife. We understood the situation and Haim visited us for the last time. I remember that even not skiing anymore, he was so happy to share these moments with his friends, breathing this particular atmosphere that makes our meeting so special. Through his eyes, we could realize how important SCIJ was for him. Beyond the physical and cultural customs, SCIJ is a place of friendship and Haim was certainly one of his its ambassadors

The entire SCIJ - the international committee and the SCIJ members - makes his condolences. We all shall remember Haim with love and affection.
