Guidelines for
SCIJ-Canada’s Board of Director

A. Executive Board of Director meetings

  1. The Ski Club executive will meet at least once a year and when necessary, either in person or by phone.

  2. Quorum is achieved with 75 percent of the executive committee in attendance.

  3. Minutes will be kept for each meeting.

B. Administration of the corporation

  1. The executive committee is responsible for managing all of SCIJ-Canada’s business matters.

  2. The president may authorize annual expenses up to a maximum of 500 dollars.

  3. Expenses between 500 dollars and 1000 dollars will have to be approved by SCIJ-Canada’s executive committee.

  4. All expenses exceeding 1000 dollars must be ratified in General Assembly.

  5. The corporation’s Investment Strategy, must be managed by the executive committee and ratified in General Assembly.

  6. SCIJ-Canada’s executive committee will present a financial activities report to members at the annual General Assembly.

C. Links to the SCIJ-International

SCIJ-Canada’s executive committee will keep members informed of all activities and news from the international organization.
